"Faith Frenzy"
By George Blanchard

There's a story in Matthew chapter 9 about two blind men who followed Jesus and begged Him to have mercy on them and heal them. Jesus asked them if they thought He could do it. They responded with a confidant, "Yes!" Jesus then touched their eyes and said, "According to your faith will it be done to you." Then their eyes were immediately opened.

Now let's think for a moment about what would've happened if the two blind men had said, "Yeah, I think You could do it." or "I guess so!" I think Jesus would've let them see out of one eye or give them blurred vision, or maybe not heal them at all. But He didn't, why? Because they said Yes! Not in an unsure, contemplating way, but "Yes!" He told them according to their faith they'd be healed. That was the key; they believed and had faith fully in Him that He could do it and He did.

Have you ever lost faith in God? Sure you have, everyone has. But why didn't He answer that prayer or open that door? Why didn't He give you what you wanted? Did you have faith that He would? Did you fully believe that He would answer your prayer? If He didn't answer, don't blame it on God. You see, He answered your prayer, but He answered it according to your faith.

In Hebrews 11 it talks about all the people who had to step out on faith; full, total, complete faith. It also says that without faith it is impossible to please God!

So, what do you think would've happened to Abraham and Sara, or Moses, or Rahab if they would have doubted God and their faith had dwindled? I can tell you their story would not have been the same.

Faith is what you need. Partial trust is not enough, semi-believing isn't either. It's faith- fully, wholly trusting in God to pull you through whatever circumstance you are in. That's faith!
