During the Dark Ages people were not allowed to read the Scriptures for themselves.  But today, we are allowed not only to read the Bible, but to own copies for ourselves and distribute them without resistance!  What is our excuse?  Who of us can say that everytime a problem arises, they search the Scriptures?  I know I can't.  I'm either too "busy" watching TV, hanging out, or just sulking in my own little world.  If we don't make time for God, why do we expect Him to make time for us?

   The Bible is our most valuable resource as Christians; in its pages is found the meaning of life that so many search for, and here we are with it in our hands and it's rarely being used!  This country was founded with a rock solid faith in God and in His Providence, but right now I think our faith is a little more like gravel.

   Am I just flapping my jaws and trying to preach at everyone?  No. . . I am sending out a challenge to any who will hear it.  Let's get into God's Word, and let's use the power within that book to change this world!

   I heard someone once say, "To know the Bible is to know the mind of God."  So what does God think when we don't go to Him or His Word for counseling?  Psalm 1:1 says, "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly. . ."  And then in verse 2 it says, "But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night."  Let's think about it for a moment. . . how much meditating do we really do?  Sure, we get destracted or something comes up, but, how are we going to be ready for battle without our defense?

   To become one of the most God fearing, revival generations in history we need the Bible and it's endless wisdom to lead us.  The only way to have a turnaround to get this nation, and this world once again focused on Jesus Christ is through God's Word.

   Search the Scriptures, memorize the Scriptures and tell the world!
