"Walls - An Introduction"
By Dj
There are walls in our lives that keep us from God and others. In this study our intent is to learn about these walls, what their negative effects on our life are, and what action we should take to break them down. We'll be learning about pride, busyness/laziness, religiosity, fear/masks, selfishness, materialism, shame/guilt, unforgiveness, legalism, and denominationalism.
Hopefully these studies will help you cut free so that you can tear down these walls. Romans 4:7-8 says, "'Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him." We've been cut free. Those who are Christians have been forgiven of any sin they've committed. Isn't that great news? We may have put up walls of sin, but check out what it says in Hebrews 9:25-28:
Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own. Then Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But now he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself. Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
Jesus was sent to cover whatever sins we have. He's ready to bring salvation. Do you want to break free from your walls of sin and accept the salvation he offers?
