Mike walks up to his youth paster Wednesday after he had talked about how people hear from God all the time.  "Tim, I don't EVER hear from God.  No matter what.  What's wrong with me?"  Tim raises an eyebrow and questions.
"Do you ever read your Bible?" Tim asks.
"Well, somtimes but not like everyday or anything.  Is it really that important?"
"Mike, you're not giving God the opportunity to talk to you.  He speaks through His Word.  If you never read it, how is He going to speak to you?"
"Well, what should I do?  I can't just start reading everyday, can I?"  Mike queries.
"Sure you can.  Find a Bible reading plan and follow it.  Take notes on it and God will speak to you," Tim replies.
Mike left that night and read his Bible.  He has been reading it ever since.

   Is God's Word really that important?

   YES!  Reading the Bible is one of the most important things Christians are supposed to do.  To learn about God we can't just listen to others speak about Him.  We must jump in and learn and read about Him.  Christians are supposed to live like Jesus.  How are we supposed to do that if we dont know how He lived?  I encourage you to read the Bible everyday.  It's not as hard as you think.
